Throwback Fashionista: Veronica Corningstone

Two nights ago, I got on this crazed sewing kick in time for Halloween, which basically went from 8pm to 3:30am. While doing so, I went through a couple of scary movies, but as it got later I decided to watch something lighter before bed. Enter Anchorman.
This is one of those movies I never get sick of. The humor’s great, along with the visual authenticity of the 70’s. Lately I feel like some film/TV has gotten lazier with period pieces.
*(I caught a tv show a couple of months ago that was set in the 60’s, and one of the scenes took place in a newly remodeled high-tech kitchen of present day. Like, seriously? You can’t put up a Craigslist ad for a period kitchen or ask a crew member if they have a memaw that lives nearby?)
Another thing I really enjoy about this movie is that it’s a comedy where the hot-female-love-interest has comedic chops to match the rest of the cast. Yes, I’m talking about the lovely Veronica Corningstone (played by the equally amazing Christina Applegate aka Kelly Bundy aka Sue Ellen from Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitters Dead).
I love how spot on and authentic her entire look is from head to toe; It’s very 70’s while still looking clean. Also, if you look closely during the movie, you’ll notice she has a killer shoe collection.

Below are some of her best looks. And…

Thanks for stopping by.
